From complete EDI interaction to distribution operations technology that provides comprehensive bar code tracking of all orders as well as the platform to enable ePedigree tracking when required by regulatory agencies, critical account and order information is readily available. This allows immediate response to customer inquiries in a minimum amount of time.
Amneal’s vision for implementing Technology in each department has taken shape in different ways. Our QC and Analytical R&D departments, for example, are using Waters Empower 2 Client/Server Chromatography systems in conjunction with Water’s HPLC Systems for Analytical purposes. Our Regulatory department is equipped with eCTD (electronic Common Technical Document) software, which can greatly expedite ANDA approvals with the FDA. As one of the first few companies to file an ANDA via this new electronic process, Amneal saw its first eCTD approval secured in just ten months and ten days. Subsequently, we have received two additional approvals for products filed via eCTD in less than twelve months each.
Further, Amneal has recently implemented the PeopleSoft/JD Edwards ERP solution company-wide. This will further increase productivity in departments such as Finance, Customer Service, and Manufacturing, resulting in faster shipments and better overall customer responsiveness. And we plan to see our vision of integrated CRM and a robust customer Web portal become a reality in the next year.
