Chintu Patel, R.Ph. - Chief Executive Officer, Co-founder
In 1994, Chintu started his career with a BS in Pharmacy from Rutgers and a position at Eckerd . He then moved on to various senior-level positions for a large U.S. pharmaceutical manufacturer. Passionate about building a remarkable company based on quality and integrity, Chintu founded Amneal Pharmaceuticals in 2002.
Chirag Patel - President, Co-founder
A true entrepreneur, Chirag has over 17 years of experience in core positions such as finance, corporate planning, business development, and information technology. Prior to founding Amneal, Chirag established two technology companies and logged over eight years in senior-level positions at three Fortune-50 corporations.
Jim Luce - Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Jim brings 25+ years of Fortune-100-level sales leadership, strategic planning and organizational development experience to Amneal. His unique approach to driving customer value and focusing on mutual value creation with accounts continue as key factors in growing businesses well ahead of industry pace.
Dr. Shankar Hariharan - Chief Scientific Officer, Executive Vice President of Specialty Pharmaceuticals and Global R & D
Dr. Hariharan holds Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D. degrees in Pharmacy. After 16 years of successfully leading generic and branded divisions of two top pharmaceutical companies, in 2006 Dr. Hariharan went on to start his own dermatologic pharmaceutical R&D company. Joining Amneal in 2010, he oversees all R&D, Regulatory Affairs and Specialty Pharmaceuticals operations.
Sanjiv Patel - Senior Vice President, Operations
A Mechanical Engineer, Sanjiv has managed Business Development, Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing and Customer Service departments throughout his career. He brings to Amneal extensive expertise in team building and cGMP process management with specialization in cryogenics/HVAC.
Candis Edwards - Senior Vice President, Regulatory Affairs
Candis offers over 25 years of experience in RA, R&D, Project Management, QA, QC, and cGMP Compliance. She holds a BS in Bacteriology & Public Health from Wagner College, and a Masters in Industrial Pharmacy from St. Johns University where she presently holds an Adjunct Professor title.
David Miller, CQE - Vice President, Quality Management
David joined Amneal in January 2005 with more than 27 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. In his time here at Amneal, Dave has continuously enhanced the Amneal quality management systems and processes to improve our already exceptional compliance level.
Kenneth M. Cappel, R.Ph., Esq. - Vice President, Global Intellectual Property
Both a registered pharmacist and licensed attorney, Ken brings over 20 years of expertise in pharmaceutical law, drug development and pharmaceutical chemistry. Ken earned his JD from Seton Hall School of Law and a BS in Pharmacy from Rutgers University.
Jiten Parikh, R.Ph. – Vice President of Operations, Branchburg Facility
One of the Amneal co-founders, Jiten contributes a wealth of experience from the numerous management positions he held with prominent retail and health system pharmacy organizations. He holds a BS in Pharmacy from Rutgers University and serves as an economic development commissioner for Bloomingdale Twp., NJ.
Nancy Gembitsky – Vice President, Human Resources
Nancy's illustrious career includes senior positions within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, consumer products, high tech, service and manufacturing industries earning her indispensable experience in all areas of human resources. Nancy achieved both a BS and M.Ed. from Rutgers, and an MBA from Pepperdine.
Sandra Miceli, CPA – Corporate Controller
An accomplished public and private accounting professional, Sandra offers over 17 years of management experience in taxation, corporate accounting, treasury and compliance. She holds a BS in Accounting from Rutgers and an MS in Taxation from Seton Hall. Sandra is a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey.

Kanu Patel, R.Ph. - Managing Director - Amneal Pharmaceuticals (India) Pvt. Ltd., Co-founder
Starting 44+ years ago in Quality, Kanu proceeded to spend nine years an investigator in the Indian FDA. He founded two healthcare-related companies before moving to the U.S. and joining Sidmak Labs. Kanu holds a BS from LM College of Pharmacy in India and is a New York-registered pharmacist.
Dr. Nikunj Patel - Executive Vice President, Amneal Pharmaceuticals (India) Pvt. Ltd.
Dr. Patel heads up our Amneal India R&D Centre. He is a member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology and highly trained in clinical research under both Indian and US guidelines. Nikunj brings to Amneal an exceptional understanding of the CRO business in India as well as a strong network in the industry.
